That's how Mark Cuban put it, but we said the same thing about the Spurs-Mavs series.
The Heat should have beaten the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals last year, but for a bounce here and a bounce there, not to mention the untimely absence of Dwayne Wade in Game 6.
A bounce here and a bounce there, and the Heat would have faced the Spurs in the Finals for the second consecutive year.
Congratulations to the Heat for decisively beating the Pistons and the Mavericks on the way to their first NBA title. But don't get too comfortable with the O'Brien Trophy. One year does not make a dynasty, and the Spurs will be back next year with a vengeance.
