Tim “the Pacman Jones of the NBA” Duncan, got what everyone that is for truth and justice and frankly common decency has been praying for – his just reward.
Spurs fans, not surprisingly were lashing out at the Crawford, Mark Cuban, Teletubbies, anyone on earth but the one responsible for it because their best player was a complete jackass. Turns out today the truth comes out. Duncan called Joey Crawford, who is one of the most respected refs in the NBA “a piece of shit”. I had to double take when I first read it, my friends. I’m not even sure Randy Moss (the other star wearing silver and black) would even say that. Well now they have much more in common than the color of their uniform.
It’s was beautiful and what you dream of if you could ref for a day, put a whining spoiled brat athlete in his place.
Duncan was already on thin ice around the country for comments such as calling the league sanctioned dress code “retarded”. How retarded is calling a legendary ref a “piece of shit”, Timmy? Really retarded or very retarded?
In this modern day of the spoiled athlete running amuck, it’s great to see something play out from a referee that would happen if you were in his position – take some medicine for the consequences of your actions and get out of my face you whining pampered athlete.
He called him a “piece of shit” after he’d been ejected. He didn’t say anything before that.
