A Quiet Summer

By Daniel Strickland on September 21, 2007.

It’s been a quiet summer here at SpursDynasty.com. Besides the signing of Ian Mahinmi, the release of Vassilis Spanoulis, Tony Parker’s wedding and his play in EuroBasket (including 36 and 31 points against Italy and Slovenia, respectively), our Spurs have stayed out of the news.

It’s been quiet because none of our players:

We should consider ourselves fortunate to be Spurs fans.

While you’re waiting for the season to start, check out Tim Duncan’s interview in STACK magazine. It’s insightful. For example, you might be interested in his answer to this question: “Did you look up to any basketball players or other idols when you were growing up in St. Croix?”

We just added a scoreboard widget to our site (top right). Enjoy it for awhile as it congratulates the Spurs on their four-game sweep of the Cavaliers in the Finals. And make SpursDynasty.com your home page for up-to-date scores once the season starts.

We’ll be hosting another Fantasy League (or two) on Yahoo! and maybe NBA.com. Stay tuned for more details.

Until next time, enjoy the quiet before the storm — 39 days until tip-off.
